Friends of Whitehall was formed in the Fall of 2004 to address a development threat to Whitehall Reservoir, right on the most prominent point on the lake.

In February 2005 we hope you made it to Whitehall Appreciation Day. It was a great chance to really get to know your neighbors. Good food and good fun for all!

Our first annual Spring Lake Cleanup Day was held on Saturday, April 30, 2005, and it was a great success.

Our first annual Fall Lake Cleanup Day was held on Saturday, Sept 24, 2005.

In 2006 Friends of Whitehall became a non-pofit organization.

Our second annual Spring Lake Cleanup Day was held on Saturday, April 22, 2006.

Friends of Whitehall is now activly seeking private donations to help fund programs to enhance the Lake, and upgrade our web site.

In the meantime, the lake level is high, and is ready for fishing and boating and all of the other summertime activities. Hope to see you out there!
